The answers below explain how the website works and why some information may differ between matches and competitions.
Football-data coverage depends on the competition, season, match status and information supplied by the available data providers. A feature is shown only when suitable supporting data exists.
Use fixture dates, league groups, filters and global search to locate a football match quickly.
View football fixturesCheck matches currently in play, match status, live events and available match statistics.
Open live scoresTell us about an incorrect score, fixture date, team detail, image or website problem.
Send a correctionLearn how to navigate fixture dates, match statuses, competition groups and football results.
Open the Fixtures page and use the date picker, previous-day button, next-day button or available date ribbon. The page reloads the matches scheduled for the selected date. You can then narrow the results by competition, country, match status or team name.
Yes. FalconScores provides quick navigation for yesterday, today and tomorrow. You can also choose another available date using the date picker.
Matches are grouped by country, league or competition. Each competition section can be expanded or collapsed so that busy football schedules remain easy to navigate.
Where the display control is available, you can switch between a visual card layout and a compact list layout. Your selected preference may be saved locally in the browser.
A fixture card may show the competition, match date, kickoff time, current status, home team, away team, team logos, score, prediction summary, favorite control, fan vote and a link to the detailed match centre.
TBD means that a confirmed kickoff time has not yet been provided. FalconScores displays the confirmed time when the source data is updated.
Football matches can be rescheduled because of television coverage, weather, venue availability, competition decisions, security arrangements or other operational reasons. FalconScores updates the fixture when revised information becomes available.
These statuses are supplied through the available match data. A postponed match may receive a new date later, while cancelled or abandoned matches may require an official competition decision before a final outcome is available.
Football-data providers may correct a score, match event, scorer, card or match status after reviewing official records. FalconScores displays the latest available correction.
Detailed match statistics are not available for every competition. Some matches provide only the final score and basic fixture information.
FalconScores displays match times using the timezone configured for the website. The detailed match overview should show the date, kickoff time and relevant timezone context.
Yes. Use global search or the fixture-page search field to search by team name, league, competition or other supported match information.
Understand how FalconScores identifies live matches and presents in-play football information.
The Live Scores page includes fixtures whose current status indicates that play is in progress, temporarily paused at half time, in extra time or in a penalty shootout.
Update frequency depends on the football-data source and website refresh configuration. Some updates may appear quickly, while others may be delayed by provider, network or competition coverage conditions.
Some website versions may refresh live information automatically. Where automatic updates are not active, reload the page to request the latest available score and match status.
A delay can occur when the source provider has not yet confirmed an event, when a competition has limited live coverage or when there is a temporary network or processing delay.
1H means first half, HT means half time, 2H means second half, ET means extra time, AET means after extra time and PEN indicates a penalty shootout or a result decided on penalties.
LIVE indicates that the current match status is in play. The displayed minute or period depends on the information available from the data provider.
A match may disappear if its status changes, if the provider corrects the match record or if the page filter no longer includes its updated state. Refresh the page or open the fixture directly.
No. Goals, cards, substitutions and other events may be delayed, corrected or unavailable depending on the competition and data coverage.
Yes. Live matches are grouped by competition so that you can review several in-play fixtures from one page. You can also favorite individual matches for easier access.
When the match status changes to full time, after extra time or penalties, it moves from active live coverage to the completed-results state.
Learn what can appear on a detailed FalconScores football match page.
A match centre is the detailed page for one football fixture. Depending on available data, it may include the match overview, teams, score, date, kickoff time, venue, referee, lineups, events, statistics, predictions, recent form and head-to-head analysis.
The overview may include the competition, season, round, match date, kickoff time, timezone, current status, venue, city, referee, home team, away team and available score information.
FalconScores displays a section only when suitable supporting data exists. A match may have fixture information but no lineups, statistics, events, predictions or historical meetings.
The sidebar may provide a written match summary, recent-form comparison, head-to-head overview, goal trends, prediction details, confidence level, venue information and other useful match facts.
No. Match previews depend on available analysis, prediction data, recent results and competition coverage. When detailed data is unavailable, FalconScores may show a basic fixture overview instead.
The written summary turns available statistics into clear football context. It may explain recent team form, scoring trends, defensive performance, head-to-head patterns and the available prediction outlook.
Where sharing controls are available, you can copy the page link or share the match using supported applications and browser features.
The data source may not have supplied the venue or referee. FalconScores avoids inventing unavailable match details.
Yes. Match dates, scores, events, lineups and statistics may be updated when revised information is received from the source provider.
Yes. Use the available star or favorite control. The saved fixture normally remains in the browser storage on the same device.
Find out when football lineups appear and how pitch and list views work.
Lineups appear after they are published by the data provider. They are often available closer to kickoff, but timing differs by competition and match.
The pitch view is the default where a suitable formation and player-position data are available.
Yes. The match centre provides a toggle between pitch view and list view when lineup data exists.
Players are arranged using the available formation and position coordinates. Goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards are placed in their relevant formation rows.
The displayed position depends on the formation and coordinates supplied by the data provider. Tactical movement during the match may also differ from the original lineup.
Yes. Where available, each team has a separate substitutes or bench section containing the named replacement players.
Yes. The home and away coaches appear when coach information is included in the available lineup data.
A player image may be unavailable, delayed or inaccessible from the external image provider. FalconScores may display a placeholder instead.
The lineup source may not have supplied the shirt number. The player can still appear when the name and position are available.
Teams may make late changes because of injuries, warm-up issues or official corrections. FalconScores updates the lineup when revised data becomes available.
The lineup shows the recorded starting players and substitutes. Match events may separately show which substitutions took place and at what time.
No. Some competitions provide player names without formations or position coordinates. In such cases, list view may provide the clearest available presentation.
Understand the FalconScores match-event timeline and period markers.
Depending on coverage, the timeline may include goals, own goals, penalties, missed penalties, yellow cards, red cards, substitutions, VAR decisions and other recorded events.
Home-team events are presented on one side of the timeline and away-team events on the opposite side, making it easier to see which team was involved.
The minute indicates when the event was recorded. Added time may appear in a format such as 45+2 or 90+4.
HT marks half time, FT marks full time, AET marks completion after extra time and PEN identifies a penalty-shootout stage or final penalty result.
The source may not have supplied or confirmed an assist. FalconScores displays assist information only when it is available.
A substitution event may identify the player who entered, the player who left and the event minute.
The provider may correct a scorer, card, event type, minute or player after reviewing official match information.
Penalty-shootout details may appear where the source provides them. Some fixtures may show only the final penalty score.
The competition may not provide event-level coverage. The final score can still appear even when the individual goals, cards and substitutions are unavailable.
Events are displayed using match minutes rather than clock time. The overall fixture date and kickoff time use the website timezone configuration.
Learn how FalconScores displays possession, shots, passing, attacks, cards and other football statistics.
Depending on match coverage, statistics may include possession, total shots, shots on target, shots off target, blocked shots, expected goals, passes, pass accuracy, corners, offsides, fouls, yellow cards, red cards, goalkeeper saves, attacks and dangerous attacks.
Statistical coverage varies by competition and provider. Major competitions may have detailed match statistics, while other fixtures may offer only basic score information.
Comparison bars show the relative values recorded for the home and away teams. The bar length is a visual comparison and should be read together with the displayed numbers.
Possession estimates how much of the recorded match time each team controlled the ball. The exact calculation method depends on the source provider.
Expected goals, often shown as xG, estimate the quality of scoring chances. The value does not represent an actual goal total and may not be available for every match.
Total shots include recorded attempts toward goal. Shots on target are attempts that would enter the goal without being stopped by the goalkeeper or another defensive action.
No. Live statistics can change during the match and may be corrected after full time.
Different football-data providers may use different event definitions and collection methods. Official corrections and timing differences may also produce temporary differences.
Available team form, goals, defensive records, head-to-head data and prediction records may contribute to the match analysis and confidence summary.
No. FalconScores should not present unavailable information as confirmed match data. Missing values may be hidden or marked as unavailable.
Understand how previous meetings, win ratios and historical goal trends are summarized.
H2H means head to head. It refers to previous recorded matches between the two teams involved in the current fixture.
Available H2H analysis may include total meetings, home-team wins, away-team wins, draws, goals scored, average goals, both-teams-to-score percentage, clean sheets, first-half goals and over-or-under goal ratios.
The number of wins for each team is divided by the total recorded meetings and converted into a percentage. Draws are calculated in the same way.
BTTS means both teams to score. The percentage shows how often both teams scored in the available previous meetings.
These percentages show how often the combined goal total in previous meetings finished above the stated threshold.
First-half statistics summarize goals scored before half time and may include the percentage of meetings with at least one first-half goal or a level score at half time.
No. Head-to-head history provides context but does not guarantee a future result. Team quality, managers, players, form and match conditions can change significantly.
FalconScores can only use meetings available in the database and may limit the display to the most recent relevant matches.
Yes. Previous meetings may include league, cup, playoff or friendly matches where they are included in the available dataset.
The teams may not have a recorded previous meeting, or historical matches may not be available from the data source.
The written summary explains the available historical pattern in words, including which team has won more meetings and whether previous matches commonly produced goals or draws.
Treatment may depend on how the source records the final result. FalconScores should use the available official match status and score fields consistently.
Learn how FalconScores prediction cards, confidence categories and match analysis should be interpreted.
Depending on available data, FalconScores may display a predicted match outcome, double-chance selection, both-teams-to-score view, over-or-under goal trend, expected goal pattern or another supported football-analysis category.
Open the Predictions section and choose today, tomorrow, the weekend or another available date using the date controls.
Where historical prediction records remain available, you may view yesterday or another supported date to compare predictions with completed results.
The confidence category summarizes the strength and consistency of the available supporting information. It may consider prediction percentages, recent form, scoring patterns, defensive performance and head-to-head trends.
FalconScores may assign a neutral default category, normally Medium or another configured value, so that the prediction card remains complete without claiming unsupported certainty.
The percentages provide a comparative model view of possible match outcomes. They are not official probabilities and do not guarantee which result will occur.
The prediction card combines the selected football tip, confidence label, supporting percentages and a short explanation of the available match analysis.
The match may not have enough supporting information, a prediction may not have been generated or the competition may not be covered by the prediction dataset.
Yes. A prediction or confidence level may change when new team form, lineup, injury or statistical information becomes available.
No. Football predictions are informational opinions based on available data. Football results are uncertain and can be affected by injuries, tactical decisions, cards, weather and unexpected events.
No. High confidence means the available indicators are comparatively stronger or more consistent. It does not mean the outcome is certain.
No. FalconScores is a football information and entertainment platform. It does not accept stakes, manage betting accounts, hold user funds or guarantee financial returns.
Learn how FalconScores summarizes wins, draws, defeats, goals and recent team performance.
Recent form uses completed matches available for the selected team. Each result is classified as a win, draw or loss from the perspective of that team.
W means win, D means draw and L means loss. The indicator is based on the selected team rather than always being based on the home team.
The default summary commonly uses the five most recent completed matches, although another configured limit may be used.
The summary may include wins, draws, defeats, goals scored, goals conceded, average goals, both-teams-to-score percentage, clean sheets, failed-to-score rate and over-or-under goal trends.
FalconScores determines whether the selected team was home or away in each result, then totals the relevant goals scored and goals allowed.
It shows the percentage of the selected recent matches in which the team conceded no goals.
It shows how often the team scored no goals in the selected recent matches.
It shows how often both the selected team and its opponent scored in the recent matches used for the summary.
The overall rating is a simplified performance indicator derived from available recent results and statistics. It is not an official club, player or competition rating.
Different platforms may use different numbers of matches, competitions, cutoff dates or data sources. FalconScores uses the completed records available in its dataset.
They may be included when they are part of the available recent-results dataset. Competition-specific pages may instead focus on results from the selected league.
The fixture may not yet be marked as completed, may be missing from the database or may belong to a competition outside the available coverage.
Learn what information can be found on FalconScores team and competition previews.
A team page may include the team logo, country, active competitions, recent results, upcoming fixtures, recent form, goals scored, goals conceded, clean sheets, both-teams-to-score trends and other available performance statistics.
Where the supporting data and page controls are available, team statistics can be focused on a selected league, competition or season.
A league page may include the competition name, logo, country, season, participating teams, upcoming fixtures, recent results and available performance statistics.
Open the relevant league or competition page and review the available Teams section.
Yes. The team page may list scheduled upcoming matches when the relevant fixture records are available.
Yes. Completed matches appear in the recent-results section, with win, draw or loss indicators from the perspective of the selected team.
The competition-team relationship may not be available for that season, or the league may have limited data coverage.
The logo may not be supplied, may be temporarily unavailable or may fail to load from the external image service. A placeholder can be displayed instead.
Yes. Use the follow control on supported team and league pages. The preference is normally stored locally in your browser.
The website administrator can configure selected competition identifiers for prominent display in the featured-league carousel, marquee or home-page sections.
Standings can appear where a supported standings dataset and current-season records are available. Not every competition provides standings data.
The displayed statistics depend on the selected or latest available season. Check the season label where the page provides one.
Learn how FalconScores saves local football preferences without requiring an account.
No. FalconScores can store followed teams, followed leagues and favorite matches locally in your browser.
Select the star or favorite control on the fixture card or detailed match page. The control changes state when the match is saved.
Select the active favorite control again or remove the fixture from the Favorites page.
Open the supported team or competition page and select the Follow control. Select it again to unfollow.
Not automatically. Local browser storage is specific to the browser and device where the preference was saved.
Favorites may disappear after browser storage is cleared, private-browsing data is removed, the browser is reset or site data is deleted.
Not unless an account-based synchronization feature is introduced. The current local-storage approach avoids requiring an account for basic personalization.
The fan poll is a non-monetary vote where visitors can choose a home win, draw or away win outcome for a football fixture.
Each option is divided by the total recorded votes and displayed as a percentage. Percentages may be rounded for presentation.
FalconScores may use a session, local browser indicator, hashed network identifier or rate limit to reduce repeated or automated votes.
No. Fan votes represent visitor opinion and are presented separately from statistical predictions and match analysis.
No. FalconScores fan polls do not involve prizes, odds, stakes, payments or wagering.
Learn how to find football teams, leagues and fixtures across FalconScores.
Global search may return matching teams, competitions, leagues and fixtures available in the FalconScores database.
Use the search control in the website header or navigation area. Enter a team, league or competition name and select a relevant result.
The name may be spelled differently, the item may not be included in the current dataset or the search term may be too short. Try a shorter team or competition name.
Use the Fixtures page date controls for date-based browsing. Global search focuses mainly on available names and match information.
Yes. Supported search implementations can match partial team or competition names.
Football clubs from different countries or age groups can have similar names. Review the team country, league, logo and page context before selecting a result.
Historical fixtures may appear when they remain available and the search configuration includes completed records.
Search results should prioritize close name matches and useful current records, although exact ordering depends on the implemented search service.
